Dr. Paul Newman

 

Paul Newman is a retired Emeritus Professor of Theatre for Adams State University in Alamosa, CO. For 23 years he was its Program Director, directing plays, designing, and teaching theatre courses from the academic to the practical. Since retiring to Bailey, he has directed for the Evergreen Players, StageDoor Theatre in Conifer, as well as for Theatre Esprit Asia in Aurora.

 

He has adjudicated for the Rocky Mountain Theatre Association, the American Association of Community Theatre, as well as for many Colorado Theatre Festivals.

Lisa Langer

 

Lisa Langer has more than 40 years of experience in professional and community theatre, both on and off the stage. As an actress, singer, and dancer, she has performed in more than 50 comedies, musicals, dramas and children’s shows. In the past two years, Lisa has added film acting to her body of work. She has directed two comedy/dramas and one musical.

She has extensive experience in adjudication for educational competitions in South Dakota primarily for high school regional events with more than two decades serving in that capacity. She also served on the South Dakotans for the Arts board of directors for six years.
