Dr. Paul Newman
Paul Newman is a retired Emeritus Professor of Theatre for Adams State University in Alamosa, CO. For 23 years he was its Program Director, directing plays, designing, and teaching theatre courses from the academic to the practical. Since retiring to Bailey, he has directed for the Evergreen Players, StageDoor Theatre in Conifer, as well as for Theatre Esprit Asia in Aurora.
He has adjudicated for the Rocky Mountain Theatre Association, the American Association of Community Theatre, as well as for many Colorado Theatre Festivals.
Michael Fox
Michael D. Fox is about to celebrate 22nd anniversary with Hale Centre Theatre in Sandy, Utah. He currently serves as Chief Operations Officer, after first playing on stage, working as box office manager, being accounting specialist, director of operations, stage manager and sound board engineer. He attended Southern Utah University, home of the Tony-award winning Utah Shakespeare Festival on a performance scholarship after an injury derailed his hoped-for pitching career in the major leagues.
He served for many years on the board of the American Association of Community Theatre. He recently enjoyed the world premiere of his original script, 'The Time Machine' produced at HCT to over 38,000 attendees and rave reviews. He is a devoted foodie. He is a student of human thought and loves to extrapolate meaning from all forms of dialogue, in person, on the page and in music.
